The amazing youth of Community Lutheran Church came all the way down from Sterling, VA to spread love, laughter and light to Hilton Head Island. The worked hard, played hard and loved deeply! I am so proud of them and so thankful for all of the lives they have blessed over the past week. Here is a glimpse of our week.

Monday: We cleared Hurricane Matthew debris out of a families yard.

Tuesday: We served others at Sandalwood Food Pantry.

Then headed to our beach ministry.

 Wednesday:

After our morning off we headed to Bloom.

We played Bingo & crosswords with the residents then worked in two of their gardens.

 Thursday: We started our ministry day at Holy Family Food Pantry. After our Captain Jack ministry was  planting a garden for Ms Patty then baked cookies for Kairos Prison Ministry.

 She was very thankful.

After a week of heat we hit up the beach!
