On second day began at Providence Presbyterian Church at a Sunday school class and then at the church service. The first message encouraged us to share who God is to us. The sermon at the church service discussed the power of touch and how God is never out of touch with us as his children. We then attended a new church, Oxygen, at the Church in the Woods. The service was also very powerful. In all three places, we could feel God’s presence. In the afternoon, we returned to the Boys and Girls Club of America to work there. Coach Daniel gave us a tour of their facility while sharing about all the work they do for the kids in the community. We were excited to help him with some of the cleaning needs around the club. Afterwards, we headed to the beach to write “Random Acts of Kindness” messages to encourage others. Many had encounters later in the day that brought joy to us and others. Finally, we ended the day with a wonderful debrief where we shared highlights of our day. God has definitely touched all of us in many ways during our time in Hilton Head.
