Every believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God’s grace. 1 Peter 4:10

Our team has been blessed with the opportunities to serve others in many ways on this first half of our mission here in Hilton Head. We began our mission with serving the leaders of the local Boys and Girls Club by constructing picnic tables, hauling wood and pulling weeds to ensure the campus was ready for the campers who arrived this week and had a beautiful and safe place to enjoy. Next, we have had the opportunity to serve the residents at The Pines of Hilton Head twice. During our first visit we partnered with the residence to bring a joyful noise through music on the piano and singing of praise and worship songs. Our second visit to The Pine, we kept the artistic fun going as we glorified God with a variety of paintings created by the residents and the mission team.

We are not only called to serve others we are called to be stewards of the earth and all that is in it, because, “The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.” Psalms 95.5 With joyful hearts, we slipped on our gloves, grabbed the mesh litter bags and the trash grabbers provided by our ministry partner, The Outside Foundation to clean the beaches in order to preserve all that He has created for us to enjoy and to protect the sea turtles, birds and all the sea creatures. Along with sharing our purpose with those out enjoying the sun, sand and surf!

Our team is enjoying the many ways in which we are able to serve God, people and be good stewards of the world God has blessed us with. We are all eager to see where God will continue to show up and how He will continue to use us to be His light!
