Budweiser Clydesdales at the Hilton Head Parade

      Because Savannah has one of the largest St Patrick's Day parades anywhere in the U.S. and because Savannah is not that far from Hilton Head, Hilton Head has their annual St. Patrick's Day parade before Savannah has their parade.  The Budweiser Clydesdales  highlighted the Hilton Head St. Patrick's Day parade this year.

       Those on the AIM STM team are mostly from Wisconsin.  After two days of driving, the team arrived in time to watch the two hour long Hilton Head St. Patrick's Day parade from in front of their host church.  Green was everywhere.  The afternoon weather was warm.  People lined both sides of the parade route's streets.  The team got a glimpse of the diversity of people who live on Hilton Head and in the communities that are near Hilton Head.  They enjoyed watching the people having a really good time together while being proactively involved during the St. Patrick's Day's activities through marching in bands, through riding on a variety of floats, through selling different kinds of food, etc.  A fun, festive event welcomed the team's arrival to Hilton Head.
