Welcome To Hilton Head!!!!

Two incredible youth groups headed down to Hilton Head for a week of fun, sun and shining God’s light to both locals and tourists.

First United Methodist from Valdosta, GA and Celebration Church from Kingsport, TN arrived safe and sound on Sunday evening and jumped right into ministry!  They have been able to do everything from construction, to child care to beach ministry and more- and it’s only DAY ONE!
Their hard work and love for the Lord is so evident and clear to everyone they encounter.

Even if that means doing unexpected things….

Like moving toilets and sinks as they clear out a construction area during our daily “Captain Jack” project.

Others moved mulch during one of our “Captain Jack” projects. These projects are a hands on way that we can bless the local church through construction, clean up and gardening.

After our “Captain Jack” projects were done for the day we headed to the beach for beach ministry!!
The teens were able to have fun in the sunshine ministering to children through soccer, frisbee, sand castle making and even learning how to go crab “fishing”.

Day one of ministry was full of eventful moments that captured our hearts and reminded us how blessed we are for every single breath we take. Everyone’s favorite moment to “take our breath away of the day” came from Brice. Brice was able to share the love of God with a resident at Bloom. Bloom is a local assisted living home on the island that we regularly partner with. That resident has a new, beautiful life ahead of her as today she became a child of God.

So many moments left to live and so much life and love to share.

This will be a week like no other.
