Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

 1 Chronicles 16:24

These past two days have been spent serving others and the Lord. We have been blessed with the opportunity to work alongside the amazing “Rays' ' from the non-profit, Pocketful of Sunshine. We helped the participants work towards their goal of putting together and filling 20,000  Easter eggs for the Island’s big Easter Egg hunt in 2023.

We also had the opportunity to clean-up two more areas of the island, we were at one of the public boat landings where we collected over 50lbs of trash. Then today we went to clean another section of the beach, collecting micro trash totaling about 10lbs.

Our team decided to divide and spread kindness at two grocery stores as we helped customers unload their groceries and return their shopping carts for them. As well, our team took time to have intentional and meaningful conversations with the people we served and offered prayers over them and their families.

Our last service project was filled with smiles and laughter as we partnered with Challenge Camp at an ice cream social. We played games, kicked around a ball, shared stories and God’s love with the children who participated in the camp.

Our time in Hilton Head may be coming to an end but our mission work does not! Our wonderful team leader Amanda, created Blessing Bags for each family to share with people we meet along the way as we head home to Maryland, Arkansas and South Carolina.
