The youth from Cave City First Free Will Baptist Church share their thoughts at the end of their mission trip to Hilton Head.
My favorite part of this week was just getting to serve at all of the different ministries. These were Deep Well, Children’s Center, and Bloom. At Deep Well we cleaned up the yards of a man with cancer and a woman who was a couple amputee. At the Children’s Center I helped a teacher feed and put the children and babies to sleep to ease the teachers nerves and give them a break. At Bloom I told different stories and sang songs in Memory Lane. We also did beach ministry where Maddy and I went and asked people if we could pray for them.

During beach ministry me and my friend asked a woman if we could simply pray for her. She said some of her family members needed prayers and she then asked if we could pray on the spot. So we did, and afterwards she said that we had made her day. This experience really showed me God’s power and His ability to change lives.

The Bloom Resident Center was probably my favorite ministry. They made us feel welcome and they were very friendly. I love to sing songs with them and they love to participate in them. God has truly blessed them and me. It touched my heart to hear the story of how the lady started working at Bloom. It was truly amazing and I met the most wonderful people.
