Today, our team of middle school students began the day with a scripture study of Jeremiah 1:4-9.  Ironically, these verses were our school’s mission theme a few years ago.  The verses were the perfect way to start our day. We then worked all morning taking down a plethora of Christmas lights.  We then traveled a short distance to the beach to share how God has shown himself in our lives.  Many of the students stepped outside of their comfort zone and shared personal experiences.  We spent the afternoon with The Boys and Girls Club of America serving them with their needs.  The evening concluded with dinner, a special time for sharing about the day, and a devotional.
