This was my third time down in Hilton Head for a mission trip and to be honest, I still had no clue what to expect or how the weekend would even turn out.  Each trip I go in with all of my plans and things that I would hope that would happen but it usually never turns out like the way I had planned it to.

On Saturday afternoon, I decided that we should do a treasure hunt on the beach. The group was divided into small groups of 3 or 4 people. We took time to pray in our small groups asking God for clues of who He wanted us to talk to and what direction we were supposed to head. 

Everyone got a least one clue. Then we went out to the beach to find the clues that God had given us. 

One of the boys was given the clue of a woman with a large dog. After an hour and a half, he was about ready to give up on finding the clue that God had given him.  As they were walking back to the church, they spotted someone with a large dog.  The boy thought is was a guy but everyone told them that is was a woman and that he should go talk to her.  God had told the boy that he needed to tell her that things could be worse.  Being obediant, he delivered his message to the woman which began a short conversation.  In that conversation the boy was told that her father had just recently passed away and that his words really lifted her spirits.

I love how God knows exactly where we are, He know exactly what is going on in our life, He knows exactly what we need to hear, and He knows so much more.  God is so good.
